Qualifications of Prospective Students

(1)      Applicants should hold or be expected to earn either a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacology, Plant Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biomedical science, Genetic Engineering, Bioengineering,  Cancer Biology, Mathematics and Physics) or Doctor of Dental Surgery, Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, medical relevant engineering from national or international institutes accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.  Otherwise program’s committee considers as appropriate for application.

(2)      Possess cumulative GPA not less than 2.7

(3)      Possess English Proficiency Examination score as the requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies

(4)      Applicants qualified for acceptance apart from (2) and (3) may be considered by the program committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.

1.     Graduation Requirement

1.1         Total time of study should not exceed the study plan

1.2         Students must complete courses as stated in the curriculum of at least 36 credits including thesis (12 credits) and 24 credits in total with a minimum CUM-GPA of 3.00.

1.3         Students must meet the English Competency Standards of Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.

1.4         Students must participate in Professional and Personal Skill Development activities of the Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.

1.5         Students must submit a thesis and pass the final public oral thesis examination examined by an examination committee appointed by Mahidol University on Graduate Studies while general audience could attend this examination.

1.6         Thesis or part (s) of the thesis must be either published in an international academic journal or accepted as an article in press in a national or an international journal following the Higher Education Commission regulations regarding the guideline for selecting academic journals for publication or presented as a proceeding at a scientific conference according to Regulations of Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
